In China, most Miao (Hmong) are found in Sichuan, Yunnan, Hunan, Guangxi and Guizhou Provinces.

Many Hmong families, largely because of  bloody wars, have emigrated to other countries.  Now they are found in China, Vietnam, Laos, Burma, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, French Guyana, Argentina, Canada, and the United States.
