Who are the La Chi?  The La Chi comprise one of  Vietnam’s 53 minority groups with an estimated  population of nearly  10,000.  There are also about 1,600 that live in southern China. In China, they are included with the Yi nationality, but the La Chi have no linguistic nor ethnic similarity with the other Yi groups.

The pronunciation of their name is "Lah-Chee" .  They are known by a number of other names.  Of these, Lati is perhaps the most common, but they are also known as: Lipu, Cu Te, Tho Den (Black Tho), Man Chi, and Xa.

They are a completely unreached people group.
