Who are the Pathen?  The Pathen comprise one of  Vietnam’s 53 minority groups with an estimated  population of nearly  4,570.  There are also about 32,000 that live in southern China. In China, they are called Baheng.

The pronunciation of their name is "Pa-heng" .  They are known by a number of other names, such as: Pa Hung, Man Pa Teng, Pa Hng, Pa Hung, Bunu, Meo (Miao) Hoa, Meo (Miao) Do, Bat Tien Toc, Na-e, and Tong.  There are two small subgroups: the Tong, and Meo Lai.

They are a largely unreached people group.
